Every order, commission, and sale is handled with care, and as much clarity & transparency as possible. Please read below to see how we can help you.
CAN I RETURN THE ARTWORK I PURCHASED?
All sales of original artwork are final. If you wish to return a reproduction print, a restocking fee amounting to 20% of the print (and varnish, if applicable) cost will be applied. We are more than happy to exchange a print for you, though the restocking fee for the original print will still be applied, as we print to order and try our best to not have prints sitting in stock.
HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO RETURN OR EXCHANGE A PRINT?
Please open and check your prints immediately upon receiving them. We accept print returns and exchanges within 7 days of receipt. If you do not reach out within 7 days, we will be unable to make a return, so please be prompt! Please note the above restocking fee. Please note that this timeline is flexible during the winter holiday season. Please be aware an exchange may not arrive in time for Christmas if the new print is unable to be printed until after December 13th, as we fulfill exchange requests only after receiving the returned print.
I HAD AN ISSUE. WHEN WILL MY REPLACEMENT ARTWORK SHIP / WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY REFUND?
We will ship your replacement artwork and / or issue a refund only after receiving your return + communication via email.
WHAT PACKAGING DO I USE TO SEND THE PRINT BACK?
We ask that you return your print in the original packaging. If your print came in a tube, it must be returned with both end caps. If you opened the package and threw one end cap away, tape is not a replacement! We are only able to provide you a functioning shipping label if the weight and dimensions are accurate and the same as when we initially shipped the package. If you do not have the original packaging, please go to to the post office and purchase a stiff mailer or a sturdy tube, as well as postage. We will not provide you a refund for artwork that is damaged in transit back due to poor packaging. We are unable to restock and sell damaged prints, so please make sure you package your print with care!
MY ARTWORK ARRIVED DAMAGED OR WAS NOT DELIVERED OR WAS LOST OR WAS STOLEN FROM MY DOORSTEP. IS THIS SOMETHING YOU CAN HELP WITH?
We are not liable for any mishandling or failed delivery by the shipping service (USPS or UPS, domestically or internationally), and we are not liable for any damage incurred post-delivery. We work hard to package each order with care in sturdy flat mailers and tubes so that it arrives undamaged, and we suggest you handle your new artwork with care when framing and stretching. Please be kind when reaching out and remember that we do not run the post office or UPS, and we have no control over the treatment of your package in transit! It’s just as much of a bummer for us to see damaged prints as it is for you to receive them.
That being said, this is how we typically handle situations that fall outside of our control:
Damaged Print: If your print is damaged in transit we are happy to handle this on a case by case basis with individual collectors who are able to provide details and documentation of the damage. Creasing and bends can be flattened. Collectors may be asked to file a claim with the shipping service. If the order is a complete loss and we offer a reprint, we ask that you return the print, either in the original packaging or in sturdy packaging purchased at your local post office. Collectors are responsible for shipping costs for replacement prints. We are unable to replace for free any prints damaged after delivery, so please place your print in a place away from possible water or heat damage, and handle the artwork with care when framing and stretching.
Not Delivered / Lost / Stolen: If your package is marked “Delivered” and yet is nowhere to be found on your doorstep, please first check your confirmation email to ensure that you input the correct shipping address. We are unable to replace any print order for free if the shipping address is incorrect. This does happen occasionally, and it is not uncommon to have the package returned. If that is the case, we are more than happy to forward it to your correct address, though we ask that you pay for the postage. If the address is correct and you believe your package to have been lost, stolen, or if you missed the delivery, you must contact the shipping service personally. Unfortunately, there isn’t anything we can do on our end, so we are unable to address any failed delivery or theft issues directly. If a package is unable to be delivered, and is returned, we are happy to reship, but ask that you pay the for the additional postage. We are unable to reprint any order for free that has been not delivered, lost, or stolen.
I ORDERED A PRINT, BUT I’M UNSATISFIED WITH THE COLORS NOW THAT IT IS IN MY SPACE. WHAT DO I DO?
Please take the time to read descriptions carefully and check the colors on multiple screens if you are concerned about color variations. I try my best to represent the colors and tones in my work honestly and clearly. We are happy to exchange your print for another that will work better in your space! Please see above for our exchange policy.

PRINT QUALITY & DETAILS
All reproductions in my shop are Giclee reproductions and are created using professional printing that uses a wide range of inks applied so finely you cannot see the dpi a bit and are very long-lasting. They are printed on flat artist canvas and can be matted, dry-mounted, or stretched over wooden stretcher bars.
All Giclee Reproductions are printed to order by a printing house and take 7-10 days to cut, package, and ship them to you right away
HOW IS MY ARTWORK GOING TO BE SHIPPED?
All artwork is wrapped in paper, padded extremely well, and sent in a well-fitting sturdy cardboard box.
Most artwork will ship via USPS or UPS, and most packages arrive within 2-4 days (domestic) from time of shipping (includes tracking & insurance). International shipments will be sent via USPS or other carrier. International buyers, please note that shipping charges may vary from the amount you pay at checkout. Please email me with questions or to get an estimate.
If the artwork is larger than 30 inches, I will work with you directly about the most convenient way to deliver it. Whether we will then work with a local framer to build the support bars and stretch the canvas, or deliver as is, the cost is usually between $100-200 depending on the size and location.
If you prefer to ship your large painting fully stretched we will use a freight service to expertly handle the painting and deliver it right to your living room ($300-700).
All prints are handled with the utmost care, Shipped via USPS 1st Class Mail or Priority Mail. These prints are ordered on demand so please allow 2-5 weeks to receive your print.

WHO ACTUALLY OWNS THE PAINTING?
I retain all rights to all artwork I create. This includes the rights to the image of sold & commissioned original paintings. I retain the right to make reproductions of any and all artwork I create unless the Collector has purchased the full or partial rights to the artwork (this is in addition to purchasing the original).
The Collector or buyer may not reproduce the artwork in any way without written permission.
If the artwork ends up being reproduced in a magazine or other media I only ask for credit.
When you purchase an original painting you, the collector, have the right to display the artwork in your home or business but the artwork may not be resold or reproduced without my written permission.

RIGHTS TO ARTWORK AND IMAGES
All artwork, images, and graphics are the sole property of Cat Möhle and may not be used by any third party without written permission.
Copying or reproducing artwork created by Cat Möhle (as seen on CatMohle.com, or elsewhere) is strictly prohibited without written permission from the artist.
Cat Möhle Fine Artist retains all rights to all artwork until it has been purchased by a private or public collector at which time the collector receives the right to display the artwork in their home or business.
Cat Möhle Fine Artist retains all rights to the image of all artwork including the rights to the image of sold & commissioned original paintings.
Cat Möhle Fine Artist retains the right to make REPRODUCTIONS OF ANY AND ALL ARTWORK CREATED BY Cat Möhle UNLESS THE COLLECTOR HAS PURCHASED THE FULL OR PARTIAL RIGHTS TO THE ARTWORK in addition to purchasing the original painting.

COLLECTORS OF REPRODUCTIONS HAVE THE RIGHT TO DISPLAY THE ARTWORK IN THEIR HOME OR BUSINESS BUT RETAIN NO OTHER RIGHTS TO THE ARTWORK.
Any image of the interior which includes the artwork in a 3rd party publication (such as social media, magazine, or book) must come with attribution (artwork title, artists name).
All other uses must be agreed to in advance in writing.
Visiting CatMohle.com or sending emails to Cat Möhle Fine Artist constitutes electronic communications. You consent to receive electronic communications and you agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically, via email and on the Site, satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. You may not assign or otherwise transfer your account to any other person or entity. You acknowledge that Cat Möhle Fine Artist is not responsible for third party access to your account that results from theft or misappropriation of your account. Cat Möhle Fine Artist and its associates reserve the right to refuse or cancel service, terminate accounts, or remove or edit content in our sole discretion.
Children Under Thirteen
Cat Möhle Fine Artist does not knowingly collect, either online or offline, personal information from persons under the age of thirteen. If you are under 18, you may use CatMohle.com only with permission of a parent or guardian.
Reproductions and non-original products: You may cancel your order within the first 24 hours. After 24 hours a 15% restocking fee will be applied. Returns and exchanges are handled on a case by case basis. We are not liable for any mishandling or failed delivery by the shipping service (USPS or UPS). Please contact [email protected] within 7 days of receiving your artwork.
Original Paintings: All sales of original artwork are final. Orders canceled within the first 24 hours will incur a 20% restocking & re-marketing fee. Returns or exchanges of original work are not available except for the most extreme situations.

Payment information is not retained by Cat Möhle Fine Artist and we take precautions to protect your information during this process. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.
Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way through a Payment Processing System (GoDaddy, Stripe or Paypal, depending on our preference at checkout).
Your privacy is very important to us. We do not share any personal, demographic, or financial data with any third party. We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or another direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.
